North Eighth Street lane closure between East Walnut Street, East Broadway, Sept. 8-26

(COLUMBIA, MO)- Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, a portion of the northbound lane of North Eighth Street between East Walnut Street and East Broadway will close to allow roof replacement at the Guitar Building, 28 N. Eighth St.

During the closure:

• Only southbound traffic will be allowed between East Walnut Street and the alley.
• Northbound traffic from East Broadway will be detoured through the alley.
• Signs will be posted to guide drivers around the closure.

All entrances and exits to the Eighth and Walnut Plaza Parking Garage will remain accessible. Due to the northbound restriction, customers entering the parking garage from North Eighth Street must approach from East Walnut Street and vehicles exiting onto North Eighth Street must turn right.

Sidewalks will remain open.

The work is expected to be completed and the road reopened by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.
