Chris Garavaglia Recognized by Connect CRE’s Next Gen Awards

Chris Garavaglia, managing director investments in Marcus & Millichap's St. Louis office, was recognized by Connect CRE as part of its Next Gen Awards program.

The award recognizes emerging leaders in commercial real estate who have made meaningful contributions to their firms and the industry. Garavaglia was selected for his role in retail investment sales and his activity across multiple U.S. markets, with a strong presence in neighborhood shopping center transactions.

Since beginning his career in 2016, Garavaglia has completed more than 200 transactions totaling over $1.2 billion and encompassing more than 3 million square feet. He specializes in the acquisition and disposition of retail properties and has completed more than a dozen neighborhood shopping center transactions within the St. Louis MSA since 2021, totaling over 500,000 square feet. Most recently, he completed the sale of Oakwood Plaza, a 45,000-square-foot shopping center in Alton, Illinois, for $9.3 million.
Garavaglia co-leads the Perez-Garavaglia Capital Markets Group and works with private and institutional clients on retail investment opportunities across the Midwest and nationally.
