TAMPA, Fla., June 17, 2025 - Synovus appointed local business leader Dr. Sheetal Patel to the Tampa advisory board.

Patel is the chief operating officer of the Patel Family Office, where she coordinates its operations and investment management across all portfolios. She actively manages the family's real estate portfolio in the hospitality, commercial real estate and development sectors. Patel began her career as a board-certified radiologist after earning her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She then transitioned into her current business role after earning her MBA at the University of South Florida.
