Alameda County - Due to maintenance work and to ensure the safety of crews and the public, Caltrans will continue the following closures in the Posey Tube (Alameda-Oakland). These closures are needed to complete essential work within the available construction window.
**All work is weather dependent and subject to change**
Scheduled Full Closures: Monday (March 2) through Friday (March 6)
Looking Ahead:
Shuttle service is available during pedestrian and bicycle closures. Oakland pickup/drop off is located at the corner of 4th and Harrison. Alameda pickup/drop off is located at the path on Mariner Square Dr, south of Posey portal.
During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Work includes repairing damaged concrete and improving the roadway surface on the Posey Tube bridge deck and approaches.
