Village Hall Elevator Out of Service

The elevator at Village Hall will be out of service for four weeks beginning January 27, 2025. Please plan accordingly.

To best serve residents and visitors with Handicapped Accessible Accommodations, please call ahead (847) 588-8000.

All staff and visitors should use the main stairwell that can be accessed from the Village Hall parking garage. The Village Hall parking garage is free and open to the public. The parking garage opens at 8:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. There is no access after 5:00 pm. Village Hall and the Village Hall parking garage are closed Saturday and Sunday.

While the elevator is out of service, there will be a Public Works service worker at the ground level during regular working hours (8:00 am-5:00 pm) to assist visitors. There is a drop box now located on the driver's side of the parking lot entrance. This is a secured box for payment.

To minimize inconvenience during this time, the Village of Niles STRONGLY RECOMMENDS using online services. There are no additional fees for paying online.

Parking

Street parking is available on the west side of Waukegan Road. You can access the first floor of Village Hall from the southeast corner of Waukegan and Oakton Street.
