Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Meets with Mayor of Toowoomba Regional Council Geoff McDonald
On 24 July 2025, Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Brisbane Dr Ruan Zongze met with Mayor Geoff McDonald in Toowoomba, Queensland.
Dr Ruan introduced the latest development of bilateral relations and welcomed Mayor MacDonald to visit China at an appropriate time.
Mayor McDonald reiterated the regional council's commitment to further strengthening collaboration with its Chinese sister city, and hoped to explore additional partnership opportunities.
