Eco-City Advocates Grant - Accepting Applications
The City of Alexandria's Office of Climate Action is launching the Eco-City Advocates Grant. This initiative empowers Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to engage residents, especially in underserved neighborhoods, in energy efficiency and mobility programs, support low-income communities, and reduce energy burdens in Alexandrians' households.
Selected CBOs will recruit and support Eco-City Advocates to provide outreach, education, and enrollment assistance for programs like weatherization, energy audits, and transportation services. Eco-City Advocates will help households save on utility costs, make homes healthier, and access sustainable transportation options.
Applications are due March 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST and must be submitted as a single PDF via email to [email protected]. Key dates and program details are available on the Eco-City Advocateswebpage.
Be part of this first-ever program to bring sustainability, equity, and energy support directly to Alexandria communities.
Please be aware that Request for Grant Proposal (RGP) questions are due March 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Submit questions via email to [email protected].
Answers to questions received will be posted on the grant announcement website.
