Pugh, Policy Committee to Host Hearing on Making Communities More Affordable through Rain Tax Reforms

WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata), Rep. Brenda Pugh (R-Luzerne) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled "Small Communities, Big Costs: Reforming the Rain Tax to Make PA More Affordable" to identify ways to ease the "rain tax" burden on smaller communities.

WHO: Testifiers will include Chet Mozloom, executive director, Lands at Hillside, and board member, Sewer Authority; Mike Stash, supervisor, Lehman Township; and Romilda Crocamo, manager, Luzerne County.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 7, at 9 a.m.

WHERE: Friedman Jewish Community Center, 613 S.J. Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704
