Transmission accounts

Transmission Accounts works with customers that are connected or would like to connect to CenterPoint Energy's High Voltage Transmission System (69kV or above). We assist with maintenance and additions on existing customer owned substations, connecting new customer owned substations, and power generation projects connecting in CenterPoint Energy's service area.

CEHE follows ERCOT guidelines, the ERCOT Dynamic Working Group (DWG) Procedure Manual, and other applicable regulations, including IBR-specific information, published on the ERCOT website. The link for Generation Customers below provides this information.​
