Vermont DMV Expands Language Accessibility with Translated Driver’s Manuals

The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is pleased to announce that the Driver's Manual is now available in multiple languages. This initiative represents a significant stride toward making the DMV more accessible to English-language learners, ensuring that a broader range of Vermonters can successfully obtain essential documents to drive legally.

This effort is part of the department's ongoing commitment to ensuring equitable access to DMV services for all Vermont residents, regardless of their native language.

"We recognize that obtaining a Driver's License opens up opportunities to access employment, independence, and new opportunities," said DMV Commissioner Wanda Minoli. "With these translated materials and the option to use interpreters, Vermonters across the state will encounter fewer barriers and have a smoother path to securing a license."
