Sportsplex Construction Update

As of today, Wed., September 10, the softball fields, the parking lot nearest the softball fields, and the walking trail at the Buda Sportsplex are closed for construction.

• Soccer fields
• Parking lot near the soccer fields
• Pavilion

This work is part of exciting changes at the Sportsplex! Earlier this year, Buda City Council approved the expansion of and upgrades to the Sportsplex facility. We're adding new fields and amenities to help grow sports tourism in Buda and create even more recreation opportunities for athletes, families, and visitors to enjoy our community. It's an investment that improves quality of life here at home while generating new revenue for our businesses and city services.

Here are some of the changes you can expect to see when the work is complete next summer:

• 4 new softball fields
• improvements to the existing softball fields
• a concession stand
• batting cages
• 800+ additional parking spaces
