Faculty Lightning Lounge set for Nov. 19

The last faculty Lightning Lounge of the semester will be held 3:30-4:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Honors College Forum. No registration is required.

The speakers will be:

  • Matthew Lakin, associate professor of computer science, whose talk is "Through the Looking Glass: Mirror DNA for Biomedicine"
  • Sara Abbaspour, assistant professor of photography, whose talk is called "floating ocean"
  • Gwyneth Doland, professor of practice in journalism, who will present "Mapping the Local News Ecosystems of New Mexico"
  • Suzanne Schadl, professor in the College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences, whose presentation is called "Archives, Metahistory, and Community Engaged Description."

Lightning Lounge is hosted by ADVANCE at UNM, the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice President for Research.
