On Social Work Day, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary and First Lady Zsuzsanna Nagy visited the Faculty of Economics, Health Sciences and Social Sciences at Károli Gáspár Reformed University.
During the visit, the First Lady gained insight into the education of helping professionals and met fourteen students studying social work, social pedagogy, diaconal studies, and nursing and patient care.
The informal, inspiring conversation between First Lady Zsuzsanna Nagy, who had previously worked as a mental health professional and family therapist, and the students, touched on the future and challenges of the helping professions, as well as on how young people see their own role in these vocations.
The visit provided a special opportunity for dedicated students and teachers to express and share their thoughts on the social significance and value of the helping professions.
