Deadline Extended to Run for Councilmember District 3

Update on District 3 City Councilmember Election

Incumbent Maribeth Bushey has decided not to seek re-election for San Rafael City Councilmember District 3 seat.

As a result, the City Clerk's office has extended the nomination period for this seat. Candidates now have until Wednesday, August 12 to submit their nomination papers.

To run for this position, you must be a registered voter residing in District 3. There is no filing fee to run for office. However, if you choose to include a Candidate's Statement of Qualifications in the voter guide, there is a fee.
