Proposals must be received no later than November 10, 2025 at 3 p.m.
LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan Craft Beverage Council (MCBC) announced today that it will accept proposals for the 2026 research and education grant program until 3 p.m. (EST) on November 10, 2025.
The MCBC awards individual research grants of up to $40,000. While any research topic will be considered, the MCBC has identified the following funding priorities:
The MCBC also awards individual education grants of up to $5,000. These grants are intended to support education efforts that strengthen Michigan's craft beverage industry.
A joint evaluation committee will review all proposals and support requests for research and education grants in December 2025 with funding decisions expected later that month.
Prospective applicants must email proposals and letters of support requests to [email protected] no later than 3 p.m. (EST) on Monday, November 10, 2025.
