Fall Must-Do’s in Arcadia

The first signs of fall have made their way to Arcadia! For the best autumn experience, here's a list of activities to add to your seasonal bucket list.

Parker Lyon & His Zany Museum
Step back to the 1930s, when Arcadia was home to the fascinating Pony Express Museum! Featured speaker Ed Anderson dives into the rich history and stories of this unique piece of Arcadia's past on Saturday, October 19, at 2 p.m.



Halloween Haunting

Downtown Arcadia transforms into a spook-tacular trick-or-treating adventure! There will be treats, arts & crafts, and games for all ages. This event will take place on Friday, October 25, 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Learn more at downtownarcadia.org.

Moon Festival, September 14
Stroll through the moon-lit event and enjoy entertainment, food, vendors, and activities for children at the 2024 Moon Festival! New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to taste teas, make a mooncake, and take a photo with a giant 8-foot moon!

This free event will be held on September 14, 5 - 8:30 p.m., at City Hall Lawn, 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, with free parking available at City Hall and at the Santa Anita Racetrack, Gate 5.

This event is held in collaboration with the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and the Arcadia Chinese Association.


Taste of Arcadia
Sample delicious food from local restaurants, sip fine wines from across the country, and discover the best locally distilled liquors in the San Gabriel Valley on September 21. Father & Daughter Dance

Saddle up for "Boots & Beauties" - a special evening to share with a loved one. Father Daughter Dance is an annual evening event for young ones to bond with their father, uncle, grandfather, or someone special.

The event, on September 27, at 6:30 p.m., consists of dinner, music, dancing, and games throughout the night. Pricing is per pair with the option of adding on additional children. Register at ArcadiaCA.gov/FatherDaughter.
