Chinese Consul General in Bandar Abbas Xu Wei Meets with Representative of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran in Hormozgan Provincez

On 26 November 2025, Consul General Xu Wei met with Mehdi Dasineh, Representative of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran in Hormozgan Province and Director General of Economic Affairs and Finance Organization of Hormozgan Province. Consul General Xu introduced the principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and exchanged views on advancing economic cooperation between China and Iran.

Consul General Xu noted that the Fourth Plenary Session has drawn up an ambitious blueprint for China's economic and social development for the next five years and beyond, which will bring broad development opportunities to all countries, including Iran. In September this year, President Xi Jinping held a successful meeting with President Pezeshkian, providing strategic guidance for deepening China-Iran relations. As next year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iran, China stands ready to work with Iran to further deepen economic cooperation, deliver more tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries, and enrich the substance of the China-Iran Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Mr. Dasineh stated that China's achievements in high-quality development and the recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for formulating the 15th five-year plan for national economic and social development provide valuable experience for Iran. Iran is ready to strengthen communication and coordination with China, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote bilateral relations to an even higher level.
