Infrastructure improvement projects are underway at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in east Hollywood. Conditions are such that those in the area of the plant may notice a higher-than-normal concentration of odor. While work is underway, conditions are such that those in the area of the plant may notice a higher-than-normal concentration of odor. While the odor poses no harm to humans or environmental health, it could be an irritant to those with a higher sensitivity to environmental odors.
