BoSS, Lawmakers Drive Financial Accountability

Juba, September 5, 2025 - The Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), in partnership with the Transitional National Legislative Assembly's Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the Ministry of Finance and Planning, and the National Audit Chamber, discussed key issues related to compliance with audits and monetary policy management.

BoSS Governor Dr. Addis Ababa Othow said, "this meeting is a vital step toward ensuring financial reforms reflect aspirations of our people. By working together, we can build a strong, transparent, and credible central bank that serves the nation with integrity."

First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Hon. Garang Majak welcomed the effort by the PAC and pledged the ministry's support for continued cooperation in good financial governance.

Also in attendance were BoSS First Deputy Governor Hon. Samuel Yanga Mikaya and Second Deputy Governor Hon. Rita Nyankiir Akoon
