DALLAS - Sunset High School will host its senior awards assembly at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21, where four students will receive the newly established Bear-Bison Scholarship. The prestigious scholarship, which is also being awarded to four students at South Oak Cliff High School, will provide recipients with a fully funded four-year college education at the school of their choice. The announcement marks a major milestone for graduating seniors and expands opportunities for Dallas ISD students pursuing higher education.

Henry B. Gonzalez Personalized Learning Academy is joining the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup by transforming classroom doors to represent countries participating in the tournament. As part of a schoolwide social studies project and contest, students researched their assigned nations and brought them to life through creative displays and interactive presentations.

Seagoville pre-K through eighth grade groundbreaking ceremony
Dallas ISD will celebrate the Seagoville pre-k through eighth grade campus groundbreaking with a ceremony beginning at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 21, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the community. The future school will provide modern learning spaces designed to support students and continue the district's investment in growing and improving schools across Dallas ISD.
