Observation of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Exercise
On October 24, 2025, the closing ceremony of the 21st Joint Anti-Terrorism Exercise of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states, "Commonwealth-Antiterror-2025," took place in Dushanbe.
At the invitation of the organizers, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), headed by Deputy Secretary General Piao Yangfan, participated in the event as an observer.
During the exercise at the Fakhrabad training ground, anti-terrorism units from CIS countries - Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan - practiced coordinated actions in countering terrorism and extremism.
The latest models of weapons, military, and special equipment were demonstrated.
