Pro bono immigration attorney Jackie Peace was recognized as a Community Impact Honoree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law's Inspire! Awards, an annual event celebrating students, alumni and community leaders who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to public service, pro bono work and social justice. The Community Impact award honors prominent alumni and public interest lawyers who advocate for underrepresented communities and systemic change. Jackie, who earned her JD from Cardozo Law in 2013, is an experienced practitioner and clinical professor of immigration law. She manages immigration pro bono efforts for the firm's New York and Washington, DC, offices.
