Entry Window Opens for TAB Station, Leadership Awards

- Slated for 2026 TAB Show Aug. 5-6, No Entry Fees
Nominations for Texas broadcasting's highest honors are due April 17, with winners of the whole-station and individual leadership awards to be celebrated at the 2026 TAB Show's closing night Awards Gala dubbed the biggest night in Texas broadcasting.
The honors include TV and Radio Station of the Year, Bonner McLane Public Service Awards for Radio and TV in three market size categories which come with $1,000 cash prizes, and the following six awards for individual leadership:
- Pioneer of the Year
- TV Broadcaster of the Year
- Radio Broadcaster of the Year
- George Marti Award for Engineering Excellence
- Jason Hightower Award for Broadcasting Excellence (one Radio, one TV)
No entry fees are required, but submissions must address the specific criteria and questions laid out for each award.
Video and audio files supporting the nominations are encouraged.
