Mayor John Carney announced the continuation of the City's annual Holiday Toy Drive.
"The Holiday Toy Drive is one of the City's most meaningful traditions," said Mayor John Carney. "I'd like to thank everyone who makes this possible, and I encourage all who are able to donate to join us in making the holiday season brighter for our neighbors."
Families who would like to register to receive new toys must email [email protected] between November 3, 2025 and December 1, 2025. Eligibility requirements are as follows:
Be a resident of the City of Wilmington.
Show a government-issued photo ID and current utility bill, lease agreement, or other residential identifying information IF your address is different from your ID.
Provide a copy of a Birth Certificate, Court Ordered Guardianship, or other official documentation that proves you are the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren).
Not have received toys from the City of Wilmington Toy Drive in 2024.
Have children between the ages of 2 years old and 10 years old.
Those who would like to donate may drop off new, unopened toys to the lobby of the Louis L. Redding City County Building beginning November 3, 2025 through December 1, 2025. No toy guns will be accepted.
