The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Dominica Vince Henderson reaffirmed on Thursday "the constant support of the Commonwealth of Dominica to Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region."

Henderson expressed this position in a press briefing following his talks in Rabat with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita.

The Dominican Minister welcomed "the growing international consensus and the momentum driven by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in favor of the autonomy plan put forward by the Kingdom of Morocco."

In this respect, he reaffirmed "the full support of the Commonwealth of Dominica for the Moroccan autonomy plan, which considers as the sole credible, serious and realistic solution."

Henderson also hailed "UN Security Council Resolution 2797 last October, which recognizes Morocco's autonomy plan. And the latter is recognized as the only possible way to resolve the Sahara issue."
