Dysfunction Junction, Seattle's premier Bluegrass band, coming to Olympia
Dysfunction Junction, featuring some of Seattle's finest bluegrass musicians, will play an afternoon of Gospel and other bluegrass music right here in Olympia on March 15.
You'll be singing along and tapping your toes as they dazzle you with outstanding vocals and musicianship on the banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and bass.

Go Figure is a curated exhibition bringing together the work of thirteen artists whose artwork incorporates figurative elements to express a deeper connection to self and the world around us. Representing a broad scope of medium, the show includes not just the human form in reference to the figure, but a variety of animals and even sporozoan.

Call for Poet Laureate - City of Lacey
The City understands the value of the literary arts in shaping a vibrant, inclusive, and creative community, and is committed to uplifting diverse poetic voices across neighborhoods and generations.
The Poet Laureate Program recognizes and supports an outstanding local poet who serves as a volunteer ambassador for poetry, literature, and the arts. The program aims to inspire community engagement, promote the literary arts, and celebrate the City's cultural richness through the spoken and written word.
Spring Arts Walk Fine Arts Juried Show - Last Call to Artists
The Olympia Art League is organizing another fabulous Open Juried Fine Arts Juried Show for the week of Olympia's Spring Arts Walk.
If you would love to include your art in the City of Olympia's Arts Walk exhibits, but don't want to fill and entire store venue, this is your chance to have one of your art pieces on display! Our venue is the Downtown Community Center. 75 painting will be selected and displayed.

Museum & Visitor Center Front Desk Docent
The Olympia Arts & Heritage Alliance is seeking volunteers to support the OlyAHA! Museum & Visitor Center. Volunteering at the Olympia AHA Museum is a chance to learn and share Olympia's stories, to build connections in the community, to gain museum and customer service experience, and to be a part of something local, vital and lasting. Our volunteers are the face of the Olympia AHA Museum. They greet guests, share stories, and connect visitors to the best of Olympia.
As a volunteer you will:

Help visitors to discover Olympia's arts, heritage, and cultures

Volunteer Experience

Front of House Volunteers needed. No experience necessary!
Shifts available for ushering, selling concessions, and selling raffle tickets during performances.

Olympia Historical Society
If you have an interest in local history, please consider becoming a volunteer with the Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum. We have a variety of roles to fill, including tour guides for the museum's Sunday afternoon open hours (1:00pm-4:00pm), groundskeeping at monthly Saturday morning work parties, and committee work for our Education, Bigelow House Operations, and Events (annual historic homes tour and spring fundraiser) committees.
