On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė is sending sincere greetings to the people of the Italian Republic on the occasion of Festa della Repubblica.
'This important national celebration reflects the democratic values, freedom, and civic spirit that unite our countries. Lithuania highly values the close partnership between our nations and our cooperation within the European Union, NATO, and other international frameworks.
I am confident that our bilateral ties will continue to grow stronger for the benefit of our countries, our citizens, and Europe as a whole.
At a time of growing challenges to European and global security, unity among Allies and partners remains essential. Together, we share a responsibility to strengthen Europe's security and resilience, defend democratic values, and support a rules-based international order.
Lithuania greatly appreciates Italy's contribution to European and transatlantic security and values our continued cooperation in support of Ukraine, its sovereignty, and its people,' reads the message of greetings by the Prime Minister.
