Relocated Bastyr Center for Natural Health Now Open on Kenmore Campus

Published May 09, 2026

This spring, the relocated Bastyr Center for Natural Health Village Clinic opened its doors on Bastyr University's Kenmore campus. In-person clinic visits are now available to the public for the following services:

  • Naturopathic primary care
  • IV therapy
  • Counseling
  • Acupuncture
  • Chinese herbs
  • Nutrition counseling

Expanding Community Access

Integrating the clinic into the Kenmore campus increases accessibility for patients in Kenmore, Kirkland, Bothell, and the greater Seattle and Bellevue areas. To celebrate, the clinic team invites the public to an open house on May 30. This event marks a bright new chapter in Bastyr's advancement as both a university and a healthcare center.

Updated Clinic Locations

To facilitate patient navigation on campus, the university has updated its clinic naming conventions. The "Village Clinic" now occupies former dorm buildings A, B, C and D, while the former annex is now known as the "Hillside Clinic." Through the spring quarter, physiomed, homeopathy and counseling shifts will remain housed in the Hillside Clinic.

A Holistic Patient Experience

During their visit, patients are encouraged to visit the Dining Commons to experience the culinary medicine prepared by Chef Scott and his team. This food represents a nourishing embodiment of the university's health philosophy, and Bastyr is proud to share it with the greater community.

Bastyr extends its gratitude to the campus community for its continued support and patience during this transition. By unifying the academic and clinical teams in one location, the clinic is positioned to serve the public with a renewed and authentic approach to natural medicine.

Clinical Leadership and Vision

Dr. Marcus Coplin and Dr. Andrew Simon are leading the effort to build a future-facing clinic that provides exceptional patient care, enhances student education and ensures financial sustainability.

Dr. Coplin, a 2010 graduate of Bastyr University in Kenmore, specializes in integrative physical and rehabilitation medicine and integrative oncology. He treats complex and chronic illnesses by integrating hydrothermal therapy, clinical nutrition, physical medicine and natural therapies alongside conventional medical care.

Dr. Simon, a 2012 graduate of Bastyr University in Kenmore, served as a resident and adjunct faculty member through 2025. He is also the founder of Rebel Med NW, a private practice that has earned Seattle Met's Top Doctor distinction for nine consecutive years. Dr. Simon's experience drives his vision to advance naturopathic primary care by addressing the economic realities of modern healthcare through operational sustainability, accessible community care and robust business education for student clinicians.
