Register to Volunteer for Big Sweep!
Join Walnut Creek Wetland Park for our Spring Big Sweep!
Partnering with Wake County, we have participated in this impactful litter pickup program for decades. Volunteers of all ages cover the park property, creeks, and surrounding streets to pick up trash. Walnut Creek Wetland Park continues (unfortunately!) to be one of Big Sweep's top-performing sites, and we often pick up 2000-3000 pounds of debris in a few short hours.
