Firelands Health case manager receives Youth Asset Builder award

Tammy Smith-Hawkins, a case manager at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services, received the Youth Asset Builder Award Nov. 18. The award was presented by the Tiffin Rotary Club and the Seneca County Family and Children First Council for her outstanding dedication to children, teens and their families.

Natalie Eberly, site supervisor, nominated Tammy for the award, highlighting the crucial support she provides to help her young clients and their families successfully navigate challenges at home, at school and in the community.

As a case manager, Tammy collaborates with various community systems, including local schools, juvenile court and the developmental disabilities system. Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services frequently receives high praise from parents and partner organizations for the excellent services Tammy delivers to her clients and their families.
