Library announces “Destination Summer” reading program

The Lewisville Public Library announces, "Destination Summer," its annual Summer reading program, that will run from May 26-August 1. Destination Summer encompasses all the amazing activities hosted by the Library that will make it "the" destination spot for reading, learning, creativity, connection, and fun.

Readers of all ages are invited to track their reading this summer. Completed reading logs also serve as a person's entry into prize drawings. Kids and teens who complete a reading log also get to pick a free book to keep.

A Destination Summer Kickoff Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 2-4 p.m. All ages are invited to the Library to enjoy free fun activities, music by Dano, giveaways, and more. Attendees will have the chance to shop for great deals at the Friends of the Library Book Sale, also being held Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The Book Sale Pre-Sale is set for Friday, June 5, 4-7 p.m.

Be sure to check out the Library's summer schedule, full of free classes, events, and activities for everyone.
