Stabbing Incident – Investigation: C25-71732

On April 6, 2025 at approximately 3:35 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence in the 600 block of Alexander Avenue for the report of a fight in progress.

Attending Central District General Patrol officers located a 25-year-old female victim suffering from multiple injuries sustained from a stabbing. Officers provided the victim with emergency medical aid including the application of multiple chest seals. She was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable. The suspect(s) fled before police arrived.

A 42-year-old female and a 30-year-old male were arrested on the strength of warrants, however no arrests were made in relation to the stabbing incident.

The Major Crimes Unit has been tasked to investigate.
