Ceremony for the Provision of Humanitarian Assistance graciously donated by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand to the people of Nepal affected by the Flash Floods and Mudslides

On 5 September 2026, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana graciously appointed H.E. Air Chief Marshal Johm Rungsawang, Privy Councillor, as Their Majesties' representative to present the humanitarian assistance for the people of Nepal. The relief items were received by H.E. Mr. Dhan Bahadur Oli, Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand, at the Aircraft Hangar, Wing 6, Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters.

The ceremony was also attended by Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force.

The Ambassador of Nepal expressed profound appreciation for the royal benevolence. The royal relief items include tents, emergency sleeping bags, relief packages for children, electric generators, safety helmets, and other essential supplies. The Royal Thai Air Force will deliver the items to Kathmandu, Nepal, early on 6 September 2026.
