On the Issues: Marquette Law School Poll, March 24

Marquette University Law School will release the results of a new statewide poll on Tuesday, March 24, at 12:15 p.m in Eckstein Hall. This in-person program features Charles Franklin, professor of law and public policy and director of the Marquette Law School Poll, and Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education.

Free registration is required to attend in person or virtually, and a light lunch will be provided.

The event will also be livestreamed on the Law School's website via the "Watch Now" button.

The Marquette Law School Poll survey examines the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election, including voter attention, candidate favorability and views on the election's impact on the court's composition.

The poll also covers candidates for governor and attorney general, as well as primary vote preferences ahead of the August primaries. Additional topics include top voter issues, economic perceptions, proposed data center development in Wisconsin and opinions on school funding and property taxes.

National issues included in the poll address views on the Iran war, a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on tariffs, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and approval of President Donald Trump.

Poll findings will be shared in real time on Twitter via the @MULawPoll account

A full news release and poll data - including toplines, crosstabs and presentation slides - will be available on the Marquette Law School Poll website shortly after 1:15 p.m., following the event.

Note: This event will take place on Tuesday rather than the traditional Wednesday poll release.
