Community Center Happenings for March

Spring Break Camp: The Destin Community Center will offer a "Spring into Fun" Camp during the local Spring Break. The camp is offered for the youth between the ages of 5 and 12 (as of Sept. 1, 2024) and will run from Monday, March 17 to March 21, 2025. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $150 for Destin residents and $180 for non-Destin residents (space is limited). There will be water/park days (weather permitting), structured recreation games, arts & crafts, and different activities each of the five days. Camp begins at 9:00am and finishes at 5:00pm. Painting at the Park: The Destin Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Painting class at Captain Royal Melvin Heritage Park, the class is open to everyone, families welcome! The event will be on Saturday, March 1st from 11:00am-1:00pm. Snacks and refreshment included. The cost is $45 for non- Destin residents and $30 for Destin residents. The event is outdoors. Youth Dodgeball: Starting February 28th , the Destin Community Center will host open Youth Dodgeball on Thursday nights from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Children ages 8 to 12 are welcome to participate in a night filled with friends, fun and dodgeball! The fee is $3/session non-residents and $2/session Destin residents.
