What: Tour of the Downtown Improvement District (DID) Safety Communications Center and remarks on the DID's outreach and public-safety efforts, including the milestone of nearly 1,000,000 ways the ambassadors made downtown cleaner and safer for residents, businesses, visitors, and service partners during the past year.

Background: Over the past year, the DID made nearly 1,000,000 direct contacts through outreach, cleanup coordination, business services, and public-safety partnerships - contributing to measurable improvements in downtown cleanliness and safety. The Safety Communications Center centralizes communications and coordination among Downtown Ambassadors, outreach workers, and cross-jurisdictional public-safety partners.
