Recap of COHP 2026 HIIM Consortium!
40+ educators. 2 days. One goal: advancing the future of Health Information Management.
We were proud to host the HIIM Educational Consortium in Memphis, bringing together educators from undergraduate and graduate programs across the country for a two-day interactive workshop.
This long-standing consortium - active for over 20 years - continues to provide leadership and direction for the profession. Throughout the event, attendees collaborated, shared ideas, and explored key topics shaping HIM education, including curriculum innovation and the responsible integration of AI.
As Dr. Reynolds shared, "Our goal is to ensure a competent HIM workforce by making all programs relevant."
The work happening here goes beyond the classroom - it helps shape the future of healthcare nationwide.
