Economic Development Specialist

Focus: Business Growth and Development

Help strengthen Santa Fe's local economy by supporting businesses and building partnerships that encourage growth and investment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with local employers and businesses.

• Connecting businesses with resources to help them succeed.

• Supporting business retention, recruitment, and expansion.

• Working with economic development partners and community organizations to strengthen the local economy.

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

Economic Development Associate

Focus: Workforce Development

The City is also seeking an Economic Development Associate (working title: Workforce Development Specialist) to help connect residents with training and career opportunities while supporting local employers in meeting their workforce needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building partnerships with employers, training providers, and community organizations.

• Coordinating workforce development programs.

• Identifying local employment and training needs.

• Helping residents access job training, skill-building programs, and career resources.
