Cassidy Applauds Senate Confirmation of President Trump’s Pick for the Middle District of Louisiana

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released the following statement applauding the U.S. Senate confirmation of Kurt Wall to serve as United States Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana. A career prosecutor for over 30 years, Wall currently serves as the Assistant District Attorney and Chief Felony Prosecutor in Livingston Parish. Wall's distinguished service to the state of Louisiana also includes directing the Criminal Division of the Louisiana Attorney General's Office and serving as Assistant District Attorney in East Baton Rouge Parish.

"When President Trump wants results, he picks people who get them," said Dr. Cassidy. "Kurt is the man for the job. He's ready to protect Louisiana families and enforce the law."
