This Election Session, The Palm Beach County Library System Makes Voter Registration Convenient & Easy

A visit to the Palm Beach County Library System can include more than picking up your latest read. As an authorized voter registration agency, the Library System provides members with convenient access to voter registration applications at all branch locations.

The next time you visit your local branch, stop by the Member Services desk. While you check out your books, Library staff can provide a voter registration application to register to vote or update your existing voter registration information. Once completed, Library staff will make sure your application is delivered to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.

At any branch location, you can quickly:

• Register for the first time.
• Change your home address.
• Switch your political party affiliation.
• Update your legal name.
• Refresh your signature on file.

Eligible Florida residents may register to vote at any time. The deadline to register to participate in an upcoming election is 29 days before the election. You are eligible to register to vote in Florida if:

• You are a citizen of the United States of America;
• You are a Florida resident;
• You are at least 18 years old (you may pre-register to vote at the age of 16, but you cannot vote until you are 18 years old);
• You have not been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state; and
• You have not been convicted of a felony or have been convicted of a felony and had your voting rights restored.
