'Connected with Alisyn Camerota' returns to Scripps News with Harry Connick Jr. and a new season of powerful conversations

The seven-episode second season joins a slate of fall originals on Scripps News.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Harry Connick Jr. joins award-winning journalist Alisyn Camerota for the season two premiere of "Connected with Alisyn Camerota," Scripps News' one-on-one interview series. The seven-episode second season premieres Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. ET on Scripps News. Building on the success of its first season, "Connected" continues its mission of creating meaningful conversations that reveal the human stories behind the headlines. This season, Camerota explores themes of resilience, leadership, entrepreneurship and perseverance through intimate interviews with entertainers, advocates, influencers and people connected to some of the most consequential moments in recent history.
Through candid conversations, Camerota invites guests to reflect on the experiences that transformed their lives and continue to inspire them.

Each episode is 30 minutes and will be available to stream on Scripps News and the Scripps News YouTube channel. Season two runs through Dec. 1.

"Photowalks," hosted by journalist and photographer Jefferson Graham, returned for its fifth season on Oct. 4. New episodes stream Sundays at 10 a.m. ET. The travel and photography series visits Paris, Juneau, Minneapolis, Fargo and Turin as it approaches its 100th episode.

"In the Shadows with Jason Bellini" returns on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. ET with a new episode titled, "The Tattoo Parlor of Dnipro." In a tattoo studio near Ukraine's front line, soldiers, survivors and grieving families bring their stories through the door. Bellini meets the people using tattoos as memorials, acts of defiance and a record of a country at war.

Later this month, Scripps News senior national correspondent Jay Gray reports on the ground in South Texas for an inside look at how the politics of midterm redistricting are affecting the people who live there. Gray spent a week talking with voters from the coastline of Corpus Christi, through the farms and ranches of the Rio Grande Valley, all the way down to the border in Brownsville - communities split across proposed congressional districts by President Trump's plan to maintain control of Congress.
