Technology Association of Georgia and Mayor Andre Dickens Honor Justin E. Samuels with Technology Leader of the Year

ATLANTA, GA - [Sept. 26 2025] - The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), in partnership with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, is proud to announce Justin E. Samuels as the recipient of the 2025 Technology Leader of the Year Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant positive impacts on Georgia's technology community in the past year, demonstrating exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to advancing the state's innovation economy.

Justin is a Senior Engineer at Intuit Mailchimp, where he develops cutting-edge marketing solutions that empower small and medium-sized businesses to grow and compete. A practitioner and engineer at heart, Justin combines technical expertise with a vision for impact at scale.

He is also the entrepreneur behind Render-Atlanta (RenderATL), a groundbreaking conference that has redefined the cultural landscape of technology in the South. By championing diversity and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups in technology, Justin has amplified Georgia's reputation as a global hub of innovation.

"Atlanta has always been a city that leads - from business to culture to technology. Justin Samuels represents that spirit - through his work as an engineer and his vision for RenderATL , both of which are opening doors, creating opportunities and are ensuring that innovation in Georgia reflects the diversity and creativity of our communities," said Mayor Andre Dickens. "Congratulations to Justin for being recognized as Technology Leader of the Year and further proving that Atlanta is a global hub of innovation."

The Technology Leader of the Year Award was presented at the 2025 TAG Chairs' Gala on November 13, 2025, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill in Atlanta. This year's Gala theme, Illuminate Innovation, celebrated the leaders, companies, and communities driving Georgia's technology future.
