Berkeley, CA | March 9, 2026 - Publishers Group West (PGW), a leading independent book distributor and an Ingram Publisher Services LLC brand, announces four new publishers joining its distribution lineup beginning in spring 2026: Silver Sprocket, Messy Press, Trouser Press Books, and Thornapple Press. Messy Press publishes playful, imaginative, and delightful children's books. Their list champions creativity, curiosity, and joyful storytelling for young readers. PGW will begin distributing Messy Press titles in the U.S. and Canada on April 1, 2026.

Trouser Press Books brings deep roots in music journalism and cultural criticism to PGW's global distribution network. Their titles explore the history, influence, and evolution of alternative and independent music scenes. PGW will begin distributing Trouser Press Books globally (excluding Australia and New Zealand) on April 1, 2026.

Thornapple Press publishes thoughtful, non-fiction books that discuss relationships, love, sexuality and relational ethics from unique and underrepresented perspectives. Their list adds depth and breadth to PGW's wellness and contemporary nonfiction categories. PGW will begin distributing Thornapple Press titles globally (excluding Canada) on April 1, 2026.
