Congresswoman Tenney Earns A+ on Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s National Scorecard

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24)today announced she received an A+, the highest possible rating on Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America's National Pro-Life Scorecard, recognizing her strong record of defending the right to life and supporting women, families, and unborn children.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America's scorecard evaluates lawmakers based on key votes, cosponsorships, letters, and legislative actions taken to protect life and advance policies that support pregnant women and mothers. Rep. Tenney has continued advancing pro-life priorities in Congress, including the recent reintroduction of the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act, which would codify states' authority to use Temporary Assistance for Needy Families resources to support pregnancy resource centers that provide services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting education, counseling, and essential supplies.

Rep. Tenney has also introduced and supported legislation to strengthen protections for unborn children and support mothers, including the Unborn Child Support Act, as well as measures such as the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act. She has further backed efforts to prevent discriminatory abortions based on a Down syndrome diagnosis and to reinforce protections for the most vulnerable.

"An A+ rating from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America reflects a clear record of standing up for the most vulnerable and supporting women with real resources," said Congresswoman Tenney. "New York families see the consequences when the far-left pushes abortion on demand and attacks pregnancy centers that provide compassionate care and practical help. I will continue working to protect unborn children, defend taxpayers from funding abortion, and expand support systems that help mothers choose life and raise healthy, thriving families."
