On-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payments on Indigenous Peoples' Day, Monday, Oct. 13, but remember, even when parking is free on holidays, all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.

City of Spokane offices, however, are open as usual on Monday. Garbage, recycling, and food and yard waste curbside services will proceed on a normal schedule.

The Spokane City Council agenda review and legislative meeting has been canceled in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day and will resume its regular schedule on Monday, October 20, at 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Meetings are shown live on CityCable 5, Facebook, and the web at spokanecity.org.
