The Tampa Convention Center (TCC) is officially nominated for the 2026 ConventionSouth Readers' Choice Award. The award recognizes top venues across 16 Southern states and Washington D.C. that deliver exceptional service, professionalism, and amenities.

TCC previously won the Readers' Choice Award as well as Best of the Best Convention Center from ConventionSouth in 2025, and is aiming to secure a second consecutive victory. TCC was also named Best of the Best among convention centers from ConventionSouth in 2025

"Our team, including our service partners, works tirelessly to provide world-class experiences for every event organizer and attendee," said David Ingram, Executive Director of the Tampa Convention Center. "Being nominated again is a huge honor, and we encourage our clients and community to show their support and help us bring home this title for a second year in a row."

Voting is open until Sunday, October 4, 2026 at midnight, at conventionsouth.com/readers-choice-award-voting-florida.

Top vote-getters will be featured in ConventionSouth's December 2026 Annual Awards Issue, a key resource used nationwide by meeting planners to select event destinations.

This nomination follows several top industry recognitions for TCC this year:

  • Venue Excellence Award: 2026 winner from IAVM (one of five venues selected globally).
  • Stella Awards: 2026 finalist for Best Convention Center (Southeast U.S.), following three consecutive Gold Medals (2023-2025).
  • Smart Stars Award: 2026 winner for the second consecutive year.
  • Tampa's Best: 2026 gold winner for event venues for the second consecutive year.
