California Department of Justice Files Charge Against Kings County Judge

KINGS COUNTY - California Attorney General Bonta today announced a charge filed against Kings County Superior Court Judge Kendra Weber. After a thorough investigation, the California Department of Justice charged Weber with one misdemeanor count of Penal Code section 192, subdivision (c)(2), vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence. The complaint was filed in the Kings County Superior Court and alleges that in September 2025, Weber, while driving a vehicle, fatally struck a bicyclist.

It is important to note that criminal charges are only allegations against a person. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
