WHAT:
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Commissioners and the Mayor's Veterans Advisory Council invite residents and visitors to gather at Lake Eola Park for the 49th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain, a special Semiquincentennial celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
As the nation marks this historic milestone, the City of Orlando is proud to host a region-wide celebration honoring two and a half centuries of freedom, service and the enduring American spirit. Beginning at 4 p.m., attendees can enjoy patriotic-themed activations throughout Lake Eola Park, including live entertainment, an expanded family-friendly zone, interactive experiences, more than a dozen local vendors and a dedicated America 250 photo activation to take home a keepsake marking this historic occasion.
The evening will culminate with Orlando's signature patriotic fireworks spectacular at 9:10 p.m. In honor of America's 250-year journey, the City of Orlando has partnered with the Orlando Concert Band to produce a custom musical score synchronized to the fireworks display.
This signature Independence Day is made possible through collaboration among multiple City of Orlando departments and community partners, including Cox Media Group and the Downtown Development Board.
