Officer-Involved Shooting Incident in Milan, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that members of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and members of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are responding to a report of an officer-involved shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Milan, New Hampshire.

The incident reportedly occurred on West Milan Road as members of the Berlin Police Department were dispatched to a home at a resident's request to remove an adult male from the home. During the officers' interaction with the male, gunshots were fired and the adult male was injured. He was transported to a hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention.

There is no known threat to the public at this time. The exact circumstances surrounding this incident are now under active investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
