Chinese Consul General in Mumbai Qin Jie Attends the Chinese New Year Celebration in Bengaluru, Karnataka

On February 17, the first day of the Chinese New Year, Consul General Qin Jie attended the Chinese New Year celebration event organized by the Shangri-La Hotel in Bengaluru, Karnataka, upon invitation. Approximately 70 guests participated, including hotel General Manager Mr. Joshi, as well representatives of Chinese enterprises in Karnataka, overseas Chinese, and their families.

Mr. Qin began by wishing all compatriots in Karnataka a prosperous and smooth Year of the Horse. He said that over the past year, overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises in Karnataka had actively contributed to the cause of friendly cooperation between the two countries. He hoped that they would continue to serve as bridges and bonds in the new year, enhancing bilateral exchanges and promoting people-to-people connectivity. He also presented them with "Spring Festival packages."

The attendees enjoyed a spectacular lion dance performance, savored traditional Chinese cuisine, and extended their best wishes for the prosperity of China and the well-being of its people.
